Fido Internet in Mississauga

Anybody here gone with Fido for Internet? Thinking of 30Mbps/unlimited for $50/month, I know one ad said 'ideal for two devices', IIRC. Can you have more attached or is that just a recommendation. We have both our cell phones with Fido, so hopefully can get a deal with them. Any experience with their internet would be greatly appreciated. Will mostly be doing Netflix and Android streaming (researching that too). Thanks.

in the process of cancelling as signed up with cannet, been with fido since december '16 but service has gone down drastically, signed up for 60/10 barely getting 5/1. Will test out cannet first

You can connect as many devices as you want. It's up to you to divide your 30mbps across devices the way you please.
I signed up in Dec 2016. Signed up for 60/10. Get around 70-80mbps down most of the times.

Have you raised this with Fido. 5/1 sounds a bit of exaggeration to me. Fido is essentially Rogers in a different clothing. Even if you switch to Cannet, it will still be a Rogers cable carrying Internet to your home. I am suspecting there must be something wrong with your modem/router.

Just got signed up-tested with four devices showing videos at the same time on Friday evening (albeit long weekend, so maybe lower usage) and it was fine. It was the 75Mbps/unlimited plan. Setup wasn't too bad, although the password didn't prompt for at least one digit, which seemed to be required. Had a really good guy at the Fido shop too-he was able to answer all our questions about Android boxes too since he said he has five. Not sure why. Will be asking about those next. Hope you get your internet sorted, Jensen. Are you in an older area using copper still? Co-worker had that issue.
