If you add another line from your existing account, you get $5 off per month and additional 2GB.

Get the cheapest plan for Quebec...

iPhone 11 64GB ($1005) for $57.91 + tax / month. Paying $0 upfront and get $150 credit.

=====

iPhone 11 Pro 64GB ($1415) for $63.33 + tax / month. Paying upfront $310 + tax - $150 credit which isn't too bad.

Is the 150$ credit QC only?

I seem to recall it was $20 a few weeks ago, so it might drip again.

I’d say for $20 a month you might be better off with the XS currently on liquidation, as the base iPhone 11 is entry level like the XR.

I don’t think iPhone 11 has been at $20/mo. Keep in mind IPhone 11 has a better camera, better battery life and faster and newer processor than XS so these are key differences although XS has the nicer screen and more premium feel.

I think the only camera differences are the telephoto sensor is now extrawide and night mode, but I could be wrong. I prefer having the telephoto, for better bokeh in portrait mode.

Ideally I’d get the 11 Pro but way too expensive for my budget.

Yea for me i prefer the iphone Xs. I agree with iphone 11 on better camera and battery life, but processor wise even tho it's a new a13 chip its not much faster than the a12 on the XS (you can watch many youtube videos on speed test). The Xs feels much more premium and better shape than 11 for sure.

I think the key is to get a monthly plan with Fido that you'd be happy with for the next 24 months as getting this phone, pretty much locks you in with Fido, unless you're willing to pay the remainder prorated portion of the $610 MSRP for this phone if you leave Fido before 24 months is up.
I am actively shopping for iPhone 8, so this is very tempting. But I have $35/1GB plan with 2GB bonus for 24mos. If I had $35/6GB, I'd jump on this iPhone 8 deal. Maybe I should ask Fido rep if they'd give me a better plan and make a sale on the phone too. :)

Fido says they will offer a $150 bill credit on my 2nd or 3rd monthly invoice, does that mean they will only pay off 1 month up to 150 or will there be a balance for the next months until reaching 150?

Credit will be available to pay off balance for future months.

The iPhone XS and iPhone XR are likely to get cheaper after tomorrow, so I’d hold off and see how much those will be before jumping on this.

I have the xs max 256 Gb and I’ve had it for 13 months now and battery is at 95%...is that good? I love the phone but I know I have to replace the battery eventually

I don't think the new models are coming till Oct./Nov.

Yeah. Most things I've read from people with insider information suggest the immediate Apple event won't be about phones (some thought it will be about watches and Macbook Airs - something about "Time Flies"). Also, Apple indicated iphone delayed compared to previous years. Makes me sad as I'm waiting, somewhat impatiently... =)

iPhone 8 is still a great phone, the only one with a finger print sensor.

It’d have been nice not having to pay for a plan though
