[Fido] LG G5 $100 on Fido Smart plan, $460+tax in total

Fido Smart plans w/o the Pulse thing are $15 higher than BYOD ones.
So roughly you are paying $15*24+100=$460+tax for LG G5. And they are still offering $40/1G, $50/2G plans. Great deal, I think.

If you have a PC world elite MC and received an targeted email from them, you may be qualified for $25 TMS in-store credit with upgrade. TMS has price match policy and now there is 'scratch and save' event ongoing.

[Update] According to replies and another thread, you can get $100 GC and battery kit on top of this deal from Costco and WirelessWave.

It is a good deal for a flagship that released this year.

Surprised that the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge are $450 and $550 with my $75 smart plan. Ridiculous and frustrating.

Bought for wife and son on the weekend. From Costco you'll also get a free additional battery /w charger + car charge kit (I believe that offer is until the end of June) and I think it was $100 in GC, so you end up just paying the taxes on the phone. Very hot IMO.

Edit: these were new activations, not sure if the Costco bonuses apply to existing customers.

Oo I'm interested in this. What plan do you have to sign up for and how much is it monthly?

$55/month ($40 + $15 tab for 24 months, or whatever they call it). That includes 2GB data + unlimited voice/text. Also includes 24 months of Spotify Premium (normally $10/month). The extra $15/month works out to be $360 total over BYOD plan price.

Is this offered by Fido or through retentions?

I believe you have 15 days to cancel a contract.

And under 30 minutes of use on the phone. Unless this has changed recently.

It's on your plan/papers you signed.

Does this Costco deal apply if I'm currently not on contract, and I renew and lock in for another two years?

I think it's $400. The phone is $800 - $400 subsidy - $300 sale discount = ~$100
