Had 3 lines with Fido on 34$ 1+1 GB black Friday deal. I used to have another bonus 2GB data which is expired couple of months ago.

Called to put a cancellation notice for all 3 lines. I wanted to port my number to Telus, where I had corporate deal.

I was transferred to retention Agent and she has offered %25 off on 79$ plan (8GB) for 24 months and credit of 150$+tax and 75$= $247.46 for all my 3 lines for Iphone X 64GB, I had to pay 399$+tax upfront. I also had %10 discount and 5$ monthly credit on my 2nd and %10 discount 3rd line. Last week retention agent told me that i can keep my discount but when i called today to accept the offer. They didn't honor it. she said i have to choose between %25 and %10.
To avoid HUP, she said she cant waive it if she orders thru phone. I had to order online myself and then credits are applied. Luckily, online price was 349$ so i saved another 50$, i have noticed 2 hours after ordering :).

at the end it came to a bit more expensive then Telus offer but i had 8GB instead of 5-6GB ( i don't remember corporate deal). And It is also a-bit more expensive then 5GB 60$ plan (0 Upfront) but again, I had 8gb instead of 5gb.

The new deal seems to be you have 2 options:
1. Retention plan with no further discounts
2. In-market plans with 25% off.

I was able to redeem 25% off on two of my plans with the back-to-school deal.
- 4+4 GB with 500mins = $70 - 25% off = $52.50
- 3+3 GB with unltd = $65 - 25% off = $48.75

I wasn't able to get this with the first rep, and had to ask for an escalation.

So I just got off the phone with Customer Relations this morning after mentioning the Public Mobile migration deal ($35 5GB and $40 8GB) to Koodo
They offered the following deal:
Fido Pulse 2+2GB - small
bonus data 5GB (+3GB & +2GB for 2 yrs)
= $65 - 25% off (2 yrs) = $48.75

Slightly less then the $50 5GB deal I currently have but I'd have to look at new deals in two years before the credits expire.

I was offered and accepted an exclusive offer for $40 5gb small pulse plan
I purchased a huawei p20 for $279 -$75(renewal offer)-$150(price match credit) Also since I purchased the phone from Costco I got a $100 cash card (-$100) +$30 activation fee
Which makes the upfront cost with taxes included $23.27
I was able to sell the phone on kijiji for $525 (heavily discounted since the phone retails for $749+ tax)
Therefore for the next 24 months I am paying $22.50 including taxes...
I think its a decent deal considering the regular price, but it does require some work...
If your interested in this plan I have another line with it and I am willing to do a plan takeover or TRO PM me if interested.

I have two lines on BYOP. Yes I am in Quebec.

49$ each for 8GB monthly + unlimited canada wide etc

Got offered 10% off second line. so 44.10

Got offered by retention an additional 25% off everything so my monthly cost is now 69.83 + taxes for both lines.

Hello,

Can you send a copyscreen of the offer they offered you ? So I can have the same ;-)
I'm with Fido with 2 lines : 34$ plan, with 2 gigas + 2 gigas (loyalties for one year, since 3 years... each year I call them to extend the loyalty ; each time they say it's not possible but each time I can extend it). I called them tonight a gave me 2 gigas more for 2 months...

Thanks

I tried this but they would only give me $50 towards a new device. Mine was going to be up in December.

If you renew they will waive your balance up to 6 months. Sometimes.

Just broke my S8 screen... for the 2nd time in a year! Goddarn curves screen is a curse. Never again.

Anyways, I have unlimited Canada and free North America text and 5GB of data for $65GB. It's 2GB for free. Not sure when it expires. Maybe in a year or so.

Considering switching to Koodo through Cell Phone Man for the 8GB plan for $50. But will give Fido a call first. If it doesn't come close to that, then bye-bye Fido after almost 20 years.

I got a call two weeks ago from the 1855 number offered me a free iphonex with the 5gb plus plan for $60, but never received the phone since then, I tried to call them several time and never got a call back although the answer machine says two business days.

anyone experiencing the same?
