Just wanted to let you know what I got. $55 a month for unlimited minutes and 5gb of data. It was my exclusive offer online. iPhone 7 for $99 but they gave me a $75 bill credit to make it only $24. Went to Costco for the renewal and they charged me $96 for the phone and gave me $100 cash card to cover the cost of my phone and I got to keep the $75 bill credit. Then they added apple care for $150 but gave me another $150 in Costco cash cards to cover that cost. Is this good or could I have done better? I’m in BC and had to sign a 2 year contract to get this.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't get that offer on my login. ON might get better deals than BC... ? I dunno.

I actually ended up with the G7 $0, 3GB, $60/month.

Fido just offered me $85 for 10gbs of data on large plan and the S9+ for free this is the same promotion Freedom mobile is offering.

Fido said with my current plan of $75/month for 10gbs on a medium plan. I get the S9+ for $279. I'm thinking about taking this offer because I have a Iphone 6S I want to trade in and can get $135 off the S9+.

My contract expires Dec 3/4.

What do you guys think of both offers? Can Fido do better?

Paying the extra 10.00 is about 240 without tax. Your phone will cost 279. So it’s aboit the same Id say. Only different is your saving upfront an paying it back with the 85 dollar plan. I guess would u like to see a low phone bill with paying a higher upfront cost for the device or paying nothing up front with a slightly higher price plan.

Fido offered me this plan in response to me mentioning Koodo plan

offer $65 for 6 GB data with $10 off for next 12 months. The plan includes the following:

Unlimited Canada-wide minutes
Unlimited text, picture and video messages from Canada to Canadian, US and international numbers
Call Display
Call Waiting
Conference Calling
Mini Voicemail
5 extra hours of data (1 hour, 5 times per billing cycle) with Data Bytes

Your monthly bill will be $55 + tax for next 12 months. After that, it will be back to $65.

I took it for both lines. We have BYOD. If something is better can switch. Also the second line still gets the 10 percent off with the 10.00 off. Making it 49.50 plus tax.
