Many of us have ‘work from home’ situation and Internet companies are making sure to take advantage of that.

I’m currently on $45 (&75 - $30) for 150 Mbps plan, which is gonna expire in another month. On my current plan, I also got $150 Amazon GC.

When I was on 75, it peaked around 99 most days. Now on 150 and, as you say, constant 300.

At the beginning they offered %50 off, later $25 and now $15! In the meantime they're increasing regular price!!

correct. I had that. Then they did not offer me same and said only for new customers. So I changed to TS and cancelled Fido Internet and next month came back as new customer. I have been doing like that but with TS becoming more expensive than everyone you can not do that. Still with Fido with new but smaller discount.
Tried new coffee and doughnut. Found same old stale thing. expected bill of six bucks but it was 600 million. Big mistake so the guy said don't worry it is on the house. going back to McD.

I've been educated before that they just buff the common speed test websites to make it seem faster, in reality they throttle you extensively

The problems with the crtc are much bigger than the current government but they did appoint the current chair which was a big disappointment.

We are currently on Fido's 150M $75 - 30 discount = $45/month and it is ending on Sept 30, 2021. We signed up last year with the $150 gift card sign-up bonus.

I just chatted with the Fido rep online and it seems that the best they can offer is $85 - 35 = $50/month for the 150U. Note, the regular price of 150M Fido Internet has increased from $75 last year to $85 this year.

This is the same exact plan we got and ours is also expiring in 1+ month. I chatted with the Fido rep and they were able to offer $85 - $35 = $50/month for the same plan.

Thanks Henry, I’ll check with Fido. $50 for 150Mbps seems good.
