I just helped my wife's niece sign up for this a couple of days ago. She just arrived from South Korea and will be here for a period of time to learn English and travel.

She brought along her unlocked iPhone and there was no problem getting on Fido network with a Fido SIM Card. I intend to wait for a couple of weeks or a month and will call Fido to upgrade her plan to the one in the Hot Deals forum where they will give her 1 more GB of data for the same price (or $50 for 3GB).
