Fully agree with post. I moved my line from Bell to VoIP.ms and yearly bill dropped from $540 to $100 (75 USD). That has been since 2010 i.e. $2600 saved and more importantly, not given to B(h)ell.

Also, be aware on suggesting VoIP option to non-techsavvy users. Either you will end up providing the support or get blamed for phone connectivity issues.

Agreed. Lack of respect for the existing clients. 30% increase after they sucked me in for $10 per month.
