Financial Assistant II at City of Hamilton

Hello all,

Is anyone working as a Financial Assistant II at City of Hamilton or has anyone worked there before? I am currently working in a small accounting firm and want to change. I have an interview for it. Please tell me if it has a future and how to prepare for the test/interview.

I will appreciate a lot. Thanks.

Know your accounting stuff and look at the posting to see what they will test you on.

What I mean is to looking at the tasks of what you are going to do:
IF you are going to do AP then you will be tested in cycle AP. If you are to communicate with different staff, be prepare to write a memo. If you are suppose to do budgeting, expect a to complete a short budget. If you are in receivables, be prepare to book them.
