My other post on Roku doesn't seem to be very popular here :)

Has been $29 a few times. Wouldn't really pay more then that for this version.

Hold on, something's fishy here. Wasn't the HD version always $39.99 and the 4K version $49.99? Now they're both $10 more? Did they jack up the price?

Best deal should be Fire Stick 4K on sale for $44.99 at SDM with 20x promo. This was the Black Friday promo. Might be a once a year deal.

I don't think so, for 4k at 49.99 probably when its on the sale otherwise 69.99. There are 3 versions at regular price:
Fire Stick TV Lite (2020 release) 49.99$ which is now on sale at 34.99$
Fire Stick TV (not Lite, 2020 release): 59.99$
Fire Stick TV 4K (2018 release): 69.99$

This was the best Firestick deal this year for sure. I picked one up during that sale, but we can’t go back in time unfortunately

I grabbed a lite with ir remote for 34 on BF. I'll wait its 1080p only and the ir is awesome for older non cec tv's.

Those amazon remotes from any other brand would be 30 bucks atleast.

Thanks! Does it have to be a smart TV or not?

1)This stopped working for me -->
amazon fire hd8 tablet (with sideload Google apps) to chromecast [doesn't work, discussed in another thread few months back, bc of a software upgrade on the Fire OS]
-would love a solution of yours does work

2) I have a basic Fire stick from 3ish years ago(?), cant figure out how to cast my tablet to Fire Stick...would appreciate how-to..
I did look it up but nothing I tried worked without more new Apps being downloaded...

Thanks

TV needs a HDMI video input. These gadgets make these tv's into smart tv's

I'll upvote this. Got my at Shoppers for $29.99, Black Friday deal I believe. Kinda wish I spent a bit more ($5) for the Amazon TV regular (I don't have 4k), but they didn't have one on sale at Shoppers at the time for that price, and I liked the convenience of having it right away (as opposed to 2+ weeks amazon shipping to the North).

Not much regret at all though (besides the non-universal remote).
It was my first trial of a Fire TV stick, and it is excellent. Super fast and snappy. Extra button on the remote. I'd buy for $35 again easily and just might for a 2nd TV.

Thanks OP.
Firestick's excellent value -- fast processor, cheapest price.
Don't need 4k for my Samsung 6300 (120hz) 1080p tv which is still serving me very well. It's a quad-core smart tv but the apps onboard are kinda slow and no longer being updated (Amazon app on it sometimes goes outta Sync). So, this firestick works flawlessly. Can also sideload apps -- My Netflix, Crave TV, Disney+, etc. Perfect. Well-made remote and device. Likely heavily subsidized by Amazon to get you into their ecosystem. Works great for my student 6 month free trial of Prime.

Just to make sure I understand... with the lite you cannot access the bell fibe app?

And you are saying the app is available on roku?
