For those not familiar with them, many of their subs are $15-$18 regularly (for footlong) so I wouldn't expect them to compete with Subway level pricing when it comes to promos.

Much better quality than Subway, but just saying.

Can't speak to the Dufferin/York-Don Mills locations, but found the Stockyards location quite underwhelming for the premium price.

Lots of local Toronto spots at the same price range with significantly better bread/portions for $12-15:

How is this upvoted at all? This should be in the sponsored section. No price listed. I can't even find what the deals are - it just links to an email sign up.

They're double + Subway's price. Not a fair comparable.

Regular price is way too expensive for me to be a regular customer. Let's see what these "deals" are...

What are the deals? Can you only see them if you have a facebook account?

Why would it be in the spomsored section. You sign up for email and they send the deals to your inbox.

Company was bought out by the same company that owns Tim’s and Burger King. Quality has been going down hill since.

Free chips & pop, LOL ! Maybe they're trying to kill off their customers before the end of the week so the real deals will only go to the survivors.

Have to echo that the quality overall is definitely much better than Subway but also a very different product IMO as the taste is very different and the options are different too, price is the contentious issue though. I went in for a footlong steak sub and Subway's is $12 regular while Firehouse is $16 regular, which works out to 1/3 more expensive. Whether you feel you're getting 1/3 more value is up to each person. In my mind, yes, but also still feels WAY too expensive for a fast-food sandwhich (and I say that about Subway too considered the portions they give you).

If you layer on that Subway does the occasional promo, for example the recent 30% off, then the difference is a 90% difference, which again, all in the eye of the beholder whether that's worth it or not. If you do go, I'd recommend the Hook & Ladder, New York Steamer, or Steak sub. Everything else is pretty "meh" in my opinion as they're either derivations of what I mentioned or less interesting overall, but again, to each their own.

I can't believe people still go to Tim's after that. Quality isn't even remotely close now and it's no longer Canadian.
