Fireplace blower question
I have an old fireplace and the blower's rheostat is not working properly. I think it got too hot and has melted slightly. Now it needs to be messed with before it will start working.
Can I replace the rheostat with a flame sensor, so it comes on & off automatically? There is no flame sensor currently and the fan works independent of the fire
