Looks like a good deal. I'm seeing the galaxy s21 5g on their site for $650 too (pink only for now) and the s20 FE for 550. Not bad

You can't. Fizz will cut you off after 3 months if the majority of your usage in on roaming.
Plus, they won't ship a SIM outside of their coverage area.

I know they won't ship it lol but RFD'ers usually find a way to get past that, but the fact they cut you off, kills it for sure.

It's great deal but the way you calculate need a little bit adjustment.

First you need be a fizz user in order to get this $260 price , 2nd you need pay $10 plus first month if you buy as a newbl fizz user. The worst part is: it's a contract phone and fizz will blacklist it if didn't stay 24 months and leave fizz.

• Price for fizz user is $260 plus tax, no $75 off.
• Price for non-fizz user is $260+$10 sim card+$20( fizz minium QC only plan x 2 months) - $75 = $215

Again, you can't leave fizz unless you finished 24 months. Otherwise it will become a wifi only media player without sim cellar signal.

Great phone for someone who plan to use fizz 24 months or longer.

Find someone to refer. Fizz card can be used as pure data sim. I used it with iPad or my ThinkPad laptop ( with wwan modules).

Best part fizz data add-on ( pay extra fee) works worldwide including Cuba , China, Europe, Japan , Korea, USA of course as well.

Out of province , no. Three months fizz-ext and gone.

Out of country, yes. Fizz won't bother you if you roam in overseas ( not Canada). You can receive incoming SMS , or purchase overseas data add-on just fine.

More than just being blacklisted. Fizz demands a credit card for payment. If you leave early, the agreement says that you have to repay the discount you had. You will be on the hook with Fizz that has your credit card and shipping address. They will send you to collection if you don't pay.

I was going to say that the discounted price only counts if you are *also* not overpaying for the plan, but 1GB and unlimited calls/txt for $28/mo is decent.

No unfortunately, it's a contract phone associated with fizz phone line.

You can get the Pixel 4A from Zoomer for $100 on a 2 year plan (pay the prorated balance if you leave early) and they offer $50 referral credits to apples:apples it would be $50 for the phone instead of $185 with Fizz based on OP's scenario of being referred.

$50 / 7GB + 10% discount for auto-pay. I have two of these plans (they referred each other). They now have shared plans which I might move to as my wife only uses 1-2GB of data monthly while my daughter maxes her 7GB out all the time. They'd be better off on their new 12GB shared plan at $85 for two lines (-10% for autopay) so $76.50 for the two plans instead of $90.

What's the deal with Fizz? Zoomer is on Rogers and there are no 'zones'. It works fine across the country.

With Fizz, $40 / 8 GB unlimited talk & text Canada-wide with voicemail.

So, with Zoomer you overpay for your monthly service not only for 24 months, but forever. THAT sucks balls, relatively speaking, of course.

Plus, with Fizz, unused monthly data rolls over for the next two billing cycles and there's "gifting" between Fizz's subscribers which permits you to select a monthly plan with less data than what you might subscribe for on another carrier.

For example, instead of the above plan for $40/month, you might get a way with using the 4 GB plan for $35/month.

They can't blacklist the phone, at least, not if you pay the full cancellation fees, which kills the deal.

The CRTC should step in and forbid cancellation fees. If you get a $260 phone on 24 months then you should never owe more than $260.

Pretty sweet deal for a great phone. Combined with that $75 bonus, I think I'm going to have to refer a few friends who've been waiting for a deal like this.
