how are Flair Airline and Swoop Airline compared to Westjet and Canada Airline besides the price (or luggage fee)? I only found a few reviews of them.

They are low cost airlines so expect to pay for anything extra outside of the plane ticket itself.

They operate a similar aircraft seen in WestJet and Air Canada's fleet: Boeing 737s but the only difference is they are in an all economy layout (with slightly less legroom). Service-wise I would have to say depends on the crew but everything will be buy on board. Additionally, Flair/Swoop have smaller route networks so they might not have as many options as the larger airlines. I would say when deciding between whether to fly with Flair/Swoop and WestJet/Air Canada take a look at the prices (with everything that you want added on) to see which one has the better deal.

Flair cancelled all the flights I ever booked with them LOL! Good luck...

recently delayed to next day, so the airline did set me up with free hotel (crappy one near the airport), dinner and shuttles from airport, but my credit card insurance could've done the same for me and better, should've done that

westjet/aircanada gonna be a way better experience overall, comfy seats, inflight entertainment, free drinks, nice big windows to see out of, etc., but you pay for it more with your ticket. might be worth it imo tho

I have never had my credit card travel insurance cover a claim. Lots of fine print.
