Flight To Las Vegas 4 People For $700 ??

700$ per person or all 4?
are the 2 kids under 2 rs old and fly for free and sit with parents?

Hotel $50 is not unusual on the down time and cold season. They just have to add the resort fee on top.
Often the hotel like Luxor, MSM Grand, Excalibur are under $50 a night during the down time. Many others too.

Is he flying out of the US? Easily believable.

I recently booked two flights to LAS from YYZ (I'm heading to CES in January and my wife is joining me afterwards). My business flight was $1200 because AC is gouging on the outbound CES flight. My wife's flight was $660 return; I had seen it the week previously for as high as $900.

I think it'll be helpful knowing which airport your friend is flying out of, and when. Even still, I can't see 4 people for CAD$700.

Yes all 4 for $700, or $150 each both ways.

I used to get great deals flying with Allegient. Swoop is Westjet's new low cost airline, right?

I paid 250$ with WestJet for Toronto to Vegas and retur from LA to Toronto (offseason). So it may be possible to get even a better deal.

Add another $100 a person (+ $400) to bring a carry on bag.
Even carry on isn’t free only a personal item (small back pack - purse).

Flights are cheap though.

Vegas in January hotels are cheap (likely something mid range like MGM ).

$700 is actually quite high.

I can get $100CAD round trip per out of BLI (Bellingham) on December 2nd.
4 people is $400CAD.

If you stay DT instead of on the Strip, El Cortez is $50ish/night after resort fees.
Strip is more like $150/night though especially on those dates.
If you fudge the dates even more you could get cheaper.

Easily doable.

They are flying out of Canada though, so I think those are very good rates.

Possible, but unlikely if he booked direct airfare.

Most likely would be he booked air+hotel, has broken out the hotel per person, and has not included the resort fee.

Generally the cheaper ontario fares would be swoop, at a little below 200 canadian, and that is with no bags and on limited dates.

That swoop link is before any bag fees or seat selection.

So they are driving to London can only pick mondays or thursdays, and can afford one giant checked bag and no carry ons for a family of 4 to get the 700.

And if they have mechanic issues and cancel a flight ... he will have to stay in vegas 3 more days or book a last minute flight back on another airline.

OK. so the flight is out from London, not Pearson.
Good deal if you live near London, but most of us don't. With a family of 4, it can be a good road trip to drive to London and fly, it can sure save some money there.
I just wouldn't want to drive 4 hours to get home after a trip at London Airport.

Good find for your friend, that's all I can say.
LV is not expensive to go, with all the deals around that you can get, Casino always attract people to go, so they can gamble and make your money from there.
Excalibur or some other older hotels can get you a night for $29/nt + resort fee.

Tell me the hotel and I'll give you his nightly resort fee. If on the strip, it doubles his room rate. 50 a night room rate is easy. 50 a night including fees is weeknights downtown or well off strip or membership in a players club, or use of one of the casino apps

WestJet is not a low-cost airline anymore. They transitioned to become a full-service carrier and launched Swoop as their low-budget offering.
