Toronto to Ottawa, Kitchener, St. Catherines, Guelph (or vice versa) bus trips for $4.99 (if you book before April 6)

Deal Link:
Price:
4.99
Expiry:
April 6, 2022
Retailer:
Flixbus
Hey, just found this twitter post (https://twitter.com/FlixBus_USA/status/1507018535767212034) that says that Flixbus is offering a special fare if you book between March 24 to April 6.

Travel Routes are:

Toronto to Ottawa, Toronto to Niagara Falls, Toronto to Guelph, Toronto to K/W and Toronto to St. Catherines

EXAMPLE: Toronto (Harbourfront) -> Mississauga (Square One) -> Guelph (Central Station) -> Kitchener (Downtown) -> Waterloo (University of Waterloo)
or if you're starting from Waterloo/Kitchener, the same route but opposite (University of Waterloo/Downtown Kitchener to Toronto's Harbourfront)

It's cheaper and faster than the GO bus, and you can book up to September 2022 for 4.99. That's a really hot deal if you were looking to visit any of the places listed above for a bargain price.

Thank you to @sajan647 and @LNahid2000 for the corrections!

EDIT: If you are having problems with the Canadian FlixBus site, you can use the global version of the site to pay with PayPal, which will convert the amount to Euros to CAD for you with 0 service charges.

Thanks for letting me know. It's now updated to reflect new trips and the new website link.

Do they still run the FedsBus from UW to Square One? That was always an experience.

Really good deal for Ottawa to Toronto one way for $5. Gas alone is probably 20x that.

It does not work well for me for the weekend I need to go to Ottawa in April because the round trip still costs $80.23 per person and only one day of that week it shows the fare to be $4.99.

Is this thing still alive, unable to find any date with a 4.99 fare for Toronto to Ottawa route?

Even when it was available, the dates were limited. Was pretty much impossible to find a 4.99 return trip even remotely close to departure. A $10 return trip would have been a great RFD boast.

Just launched. Keep in mind it's more of a franchise model so the service is the same only by the name. Have taken Flixbus in Germany and it was great. Also have taken Flixbus in USA and it was mediocre (WiFi didn't work at all) That being said, at these prices. It will really give Megabus and Greyhound a run for their money

How would you compare or expect a Flixbus trip from TO-NF vs. GO, Megabus, etc.?

does it matter?
Have not taken or used this service. may be I will use once the covid is in real control. Thanks OP.
Funny part is going to downtown to take the bus will cost me more than Toronto Ottawa fare.
Tried new coffee and doughnut. Found same old stale thing. expected bill of six bucks but it was 600 million. Big mistake so the guy said don't worry it is on the house. going back to McD.
