Flooring just inside basement entrance (walkout). See pictures

Was anything about this house actually done right? In the short time since it has been built there seems to be a lot of issues. Siding flying off, that weird framing job, etc.

It sure doesnt look right... is it gonna cause problems - I dont know but isnt the framing supposed to sit on the concrete slab?

To me it looks like the slab was poured on top of the foundation and it didn't extend past the foundation walls. Why don't you hire an experienced contractor or building inspector to walk through the house and find all the issues with it and then confront the builder. I would be pissed if this is what I got as a new build...

My aunt had this done when the exterior footing o pipe filled up. They cut it out just like this, put in big O and gravel, and covered with OSB just like this.
