Are they any good? Don't recall seeing this product before.

They appear to be processed cheese rather than real cheese, which probably accounts for the low price. There's nothing on Armstrong's site about them, but the packaging is distinctly different from Armstrong's real sliced cheese.

Compare: Armstrong Melts and Armstrong Cheese Block

It's more like how do the Armstrong melts slices compare to Kraft process cheese slices, or Black diamond of the same variety.
They can't possibly be any worse than those store brand Giant Tiger "Sandwich slices" that can't even use the word cheese legally. lol
At least Armstrong melts DOES read "process cheese product" on the packaging.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Agree, can anybody comment? Kraft processed cheese slices are better than Black Diamond in my opinion. I've never tried Armstrong, though.

Meanwhile, No name cheese slices @ No Frills are also $1.97, starting on Thursday, but it's only 400g for that price...

I've never tried them, nor possibly may have seen them on shelves either. Just came across them checking out this week's flyer at Giant Tiger and noticed they come in a pack of 450g whereas most other brands have downsized theirs to 400g along with their brick cheeses. I prefer Velveeta slices over the others.

Not sure if anyone is starting to notice but Greek Oikos yogurt is now starting to go 650g and not 750g as usual. They did that will most of the plain yogurts as well.

Honestly not the worst thing hahahahha... health wise.

Last time I got ketchip chips from Dollarama.... I burned through a whole bag in a single Netflix sitting... YIKES. It usually took me a week to finish a bag of Sea salt and pepper kettle chips from Dollarama.

I'm surprised it was ever 680 g since their frozen meat pies were/are always lighter than St. Huberts frozen meat pies

I went to no frills today to buy harvest crunch cereal.
This one is my staple and I always stock up when there's a sale. They reduced the Original from 580g to 475g :(. The other flavours are reduced in weight size.

It used to be 600g (Original) and then reduced to 580g which was mildly acceptable.

Looks like I'll be making my own granola cereal from now on.
