No Frills flyer September 17-23, 2020 is showing Italpasta for a nice low price of only 72 cents, but once again, it's not the usual 900g. It's only 750g.
Gee, I wonder if a competing store will offer 900g for 99 cents, maybe?

I see a 180g bag of Old Dutch potato chips in the No Frills flyer
I didn't know there was even such a size
I bought a bunch of >200g bags at Sobeys a few months back
Lays has 180g (I guess less now) and a heavier ~200g+ bags

If Dollarama still sells Old Dutch chips, I think that size was only 140g? Everyday price was only $2 though.

Sobeys flyer indicates Boursin soft cheese now has a value pack 250g whereas standard size is 150g
$7.99 in the flyer seems fair value with 150g usually $5 frequent regular sale

This one is my staple and I always stock up when there's a sale. They reduced the Original from 580g to 475g :(. The other flavours are reduced in weight size.

It used to be 600g (Original) and then reduced to 580g which was mildly acceptable.

Looks like I'll be making my own granola cereal from now on.
I think they did this as they are now sold at Dollarama.

Of course, you could get the bigger sizes for around $2 when on sale. It's just that you can always get it now at Dollarama. At least I think that's the price there.

What is the weight content of the bigger sizes?

I only know of the costco size but never for $2 on sale lol

Shocker: SDM has switched to 165g for Lay's (from 180g) for all stock now. Was eating a bag and before I knew it I was near the end. Then checked the outside, 165g !!!

"Selected types and sizes" $1.99, but today is the last day of the sale. There may still be some (ie regular?) @ 180g?

So I see next weeks Walmart Flyer is advertising Armstrong cheese blocks $7.47 for 600 grams, it used to be 700 g. That's for the regular types like old, medium, marble, the more specialty ones like Monterrey Jack or extra old have been 600 g for a while tho.
other stores are still selling this size Imagehttps://www.realcanadiansuperstore.ca/F ... 6184002_EA
but now they have Image
https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/armstrong- ... 0202323346
they even removed the 700 g size from Armstrong's site.

It WAS $8.47 for 700g and it is now $7.47 for 600g?
If this were to be the new every day low price, I'd say this is not a savings.
However, if the new regular price is intended to be $8.47 for 600g, I guess it's a bit of a savings, but not much.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit though if, in the near future, $7.47 becomes the new every day low price.

Haven't eaten a Twinkie in a loooooong time but I sure don't remember them being so small, diameter only slightly wider than a hot dog and maybe 2/3 length of a hot dog

Unless my memory's going bad, those Pillsbury ready-to-bake sugar cookies now come 20 in a pack versus 24 last year.

Someone gave me a Halloween-sized box of Smarties. There was a total of 7 inside.
