[Foodbasics] Selection Premium mini eggs $4.99 for 900g

Haven't actually tried these yet (waiting for the Easter Bunny to drop them off), but a great deal compared to similar sizes of other brands.

Got them - not great tasting, less quality ingredients than Eggies or mini eggs.

My mind has been foggy lately and I thought they downsized eggs due to inflation from regular size to mini when I read the title.

Though this was going to be a price error for sure as I didn't find any at my local store, but on a unrelated drive passed another Food Basics and popped in. Almost bought two bags, but glad I only bought the one. Store brand mini eggs are not great. I've tried PC, however you spell the Carnaby one, and now Selection and they don't taste anything like Cadbury Mini Eggs. You can't taste chocolate at all, just the candy shell. If you want cheap mini eggs, Hersey's Eggies are the way to go at unfortunately twice this price. The scent from just opening that bag is worth the price... These will appease your kids though....

How are the Wal-Mart "great value" ones? Are they comparable to Cadbury?
