It's Tim Tam Slam or Tim Tam Explosion time. Imported from Australia
Tim Tam biscuits (200 grams) 99 cents. Thursday May 6 to May 12. Price Match at No Frills, RCSS (YMMV), Freshco (YMMV).
These cost $2.97 at Walmart .
seen on the toronto food basics flyer.
although it's advertised on the toronto flyer, you can still look for the product at your local food basics and bring to the cashier for a price check to see if it's 99 cents.

Can also confirm these are great. Didn't know Food Basic's had 'em, I usually have to go to specific Wal Mart's for em.

Thanks BUT are they really imported from Australia? I don't think they are, I think these are produced somewhere in North America. The reason I ask is that I've had real Tim Tams from Australia and the local store bought side by side and they are slightly different tasting. In my option Australian ones are better.

BE WARNED, TIM TAM SLAMS ARE ADDICTIVE! I discovered these on my last trip to Australia and WOW, they make the cookie 1000x better (unless you keep it too long and it falls into your drink).
Also, I recommend doing it in coffee!

Haha I bought a pack of Coles exclusive Mango Tim Tams when I was in Melbourne. That was an adventure.

Good deal. See the regular or caramel occasionally on sale for 2.99 at Loblaws or No Frills.

I thought Canada's Tim Tams were manufactured locally under some Arnott's license/co-branding. Cause we don't have all the wild flavours down under.

YMMV! Entered my Ottawa postal code for the Food Basics flyer and instead of $0.99 cent Tim Tams there's a photo of Chips Ahoy and Oreo cookies on sale for $1.47 in its place.

Maybe the Tim Tams are a Toronto only deal?

Really good deal!

Checked ozbargain (Australian version of red flag deals) and
the local supermarkets in Australia (Woolies and Coles) sell these for half price at $2 a packet.

Love the dark chocolate one. The other ones are a bit too sweet for me.
