[Foot Locker] Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2 GTX $149.99 (REG $300) Men's & Women's

Decent lightweight hiker with Gore-Tex.

Adidas website had the same deal but no stock is left for discounted items.

Adidas has the size guide on their website, there are conflicting reviews on the right sizing. Some claim it runs small and others say large:

I have the non gore-tex version of these and love them. They are definitely roomier than my other Adidas shoes (UBs). Their overall length is on point but they have more vertical room - Once I put a pair of insoles in they were perfect and made them even more supportive.

Hiked around Spain for 3 weeks in these, they were great. But as with most hiking shoes/boots blind buying is a risk. YMMV.

Between this and the adidas 50% off deal, I've been tempted to try a pair of adidas hiking boots, but can anyone speak to how these hold up during actual multi-date hikes? Could you wear these to hike the Inca Trail, for example?

The only concern I have is the foam on the sole of the foot. If rocks and sticks chip away the foam from time to time I'd be worried about durability of the shoe and stability of my ankles. Nonetheless, I have a pair of these and love the comfort as I tried them on, but yet to test them out on real terrain.

THESE are the best shoe I've ever worn. I bought them for playing disc golf and I walk right through the mud. No big deal. Very comfortable. I paid $350 for them and I would do it again!

I'll edit to say I've had them for a year. Used them probably about 40 times. Still looking good.

Edit again to say I'm stupid and I don't have this model. I have a different model Terrex shoe but I would assume my stats remain true with the other Terrex models.
