Forgot to pay my bill. Impact?

Stupid me. For the first time in almost 20 years I forgot to pay my credit card bill, the entire $12.62 balance on my Chase Marriott Visa. Paid up yesterday, 10 days late.

Is this going to have any impact in the likelihood I'll be approved for new cards? I have one application pending approval right now, and will apply for another card soon to replace the Chase, which is reported to be axed in March.

Nothing...if you pay it within one cycle or less and is not regular occurrence

I forgot to pay my chase bill couple of times last year and they mailed me letter to remind me and I promptly paid it. Doesn't show on my credit report

The first threshold for late payment is 30 days after due date.
So unless it was at least 30 days late, you have nothing to worry about.
