Update - I went yesterday (Thursday) to the Fortino's in Maple (Major Mack and Jane) - they have a limit of 12 per customer.
They had a roped off line set up with signage - there were only a few customers selecting their corn so it was hassle free and no need to line up.
It baffles me why people have to peel (shuck) the corn and throw the refuse back into the corn on the table making a mess - and they seem totally oblivious to the mess they are making.
Corn also stays fresher (kernels retain more moisture) when they are left in the husks till cooking.
