Four point by sheraton niagara falls 50$ CDN

Price:
50
Anyone interested, going to niagara falls, great price for great hotel and no crappy annoying gift certificates that come with it. Nice hotel went a few times, Went on www.expedia.ca, it's now on sale pretty much any day next week for 62.93$ CDN. Same room is 90$ on sheraton website. They offer 20% off best price guarantee if you request thru their form. So I requested my room thru the best price guarantee of sheraton. mentionned that room was 62.93$ on expedia, got an answer few hours later that my reservation was approved for 62.93$ minus 20% off, so 50$ for the room. Very happy, if anyone was thinking niagara falls, now is the time! some hotel on expedia are dirt cheap like best western was 37$ a night lol

I don't see it either. Also, there are two "Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls", one in ON and one in NY.

LOL...RFD'ers crash the Starwood website.

Thanks OP, was thinking of a trip to the Falls for the kids next week and for $72 with tax, can't go wrong. Like you mention, all those gift certificates are a hassle. Just give me a cheap room.

Park at the casino (fallviews casino) right across the street, there is a walkway from the parking lot of the casino that connects right to this hotel and the Hilton. Parking is usually $5-$10 bucks, usually $5 backs and its free parking if you spend $20 bucks in the casino with your PAC card.

Enjoy

I personnally booked 2 nights starting march 18 to 20 for 100$ cdn. With the best price guarantee filled out te form last night around midnight got a confirmation by e mail around 10 am this morning that my new price wias accepted. So very happy since i like this hotel! Parking is if i remember 12$ a night at the hotel self parking on the orher side of the street. Or free at the casino if you get somehow 20$ free credits and play it the day you leave.

Solid deal OP! Thanks for posting.

Mar 27-28 is $84 before any best price guarantee. I checked a few April dates and they were over $100. This is a nice hotel, clean, and connected right to Hilton and Fallsview Casino. Parking is nice b/c in-out privileges, whereas if you park at the casino you don't have that option. Self serve parking across the street at their lot. Also a bonus if you're an SPG member as this is one of their properties.

Edit: with the best rate guarantee, you have the option of 20% off or 2000 SPG points. Taking the latest offer into mind (Amex SPG card with $120 annual fee but 20,000 SPG welcome points) that works out to $12 for 2,000 points. [$120/20,000]*2,000

So depending on the amount of savings (20%) vs the points, one may prefer the points over the discount.

So expedia will basically match the price on sheraton's website and give you 20% off?

hi,

Can someone please explain how to get it for $50/night? Would love to take the kids and inlaws there.

I used expedia.ca, but for the period of March 18-20 (2 nights) the rates were $100/night on expedia.ca

thanks,

So a few things to mention, both starwoodhotels and expedia offer price guarantee. In both situations not only do you have to play with the dates but you need to actually book the reservation in order to follow the procedure of submitting the claim for the price guarantee. StarwoodHotels offers a similar price to Expedia but that is on the prepaid option which you need to pay in advance and refunds/cancellations are out of the question. So if your claim isn't approved you are stuck with the gambled price. The 2nd option offered through them is the pay after but it's $30 more for the room and that let's you cancel/refund before the booking date.

Expedia matches the price of the competitors and goes and gives you $50 voucher for the site. Note that prices in StarwoodHotels are in USD and the lowest price shown in the listings are the ones that have already the discount applied if paid in full without giving you the option of the refund. These prices reflect the same prices when being converted into CDN dollars in Expedia. One company to the other can simply say their exchange rate differs from each other and tell you that amount in USD is the same in CDN.

With all this being said, I would much rather just book it with Expedia and forget about taking a gamble on the 20% off. Just letting you guys know. Not sure why the peeps who mentioned they've done it haven't popped in and mentioned the above, unless I am wrong in what I said but this is all from both websites in the description and terms.
