Hope you like it. I've heard about Molecule 01, just never looked into it yet.
I ordered a 100ml split of Aventus yesterday. Just like it that much more over the Club de Nuit Intense.

I've been curious about molecule 01 ever since I saw a review for it. I figure if this works out well, then maybe I'll consider getting the original. I just wasn't sure how the iso-e super would react with my skin.

At least CDNI wasn't a big investment. Still good for less special occasions though right?

True, in fact, everyone tells me that because of some change in laws regarding fragrance ingredients, all Aventus is now strongly pineapple, and not smoky anymore.
I may try wearing both at the same time. Maybe 2 shots Aventus, and one shot of CDNI, which would give a nice pineapply and smoky effect.

Where are people generally buying their cologne at? I used to always just buy at a dept. store.

I see lots of online sites for cheaper, but don't know who is actually selling legit or knock offs.

Interested in getting a bottle of Invictus

I usually buy from https://www.fragrancex.com/(ships from US, but take returns at Mississauga, ON). I have also purchased from Fragrancebuy.ca https://fragrancebuy.ca/ which ships from Canada. I have also ordered samples from Niche Essence https://www.nicheessence.com/ who are in Ontario. Have also ordered samples from Luckyscent in the US, https://www.luckyscent.com/samples. Have also ordered split bottles from the basenotes forum from their split board section. http://www.basenotes.net/forums/142-Fra ... lits-Board from members smellyfinger and cleverusername, they are great, and you can save a lot of money. Also, always check the bay, shoppers, and other retail stores because sometimes they are cheaper.
EDIT: I sampled Invictus yesterday at Shopper's Drug Mart, it is okay, sweet smelling to me. May be good for the club and younger guys.

Thanks - I actually haven't bought any in years, definitely quite a while, mostly just used body spray... just figured I am probably due for a new bottle as I smelled my Jean Paul Gaultier and I assume it is expired.. seems to just smell like alcohol now instead of the sweet smell it used to.

Was just going to buy the smaller invictus as a blind buy after watching youtube videos. I am not into clubbing, just want something not too overpowering for going out/office.

I should probably hit up a dept. store first and sample some stuff first.

Prada L'Homme , or Bulgari Pour Homme are nice and inoffensive for everyday/office wear. They are the first 2 I got. I also have Jean Paul Gauthier Le Male eau Friche, it is similar to Le Male but has a fresh vibe to it. Actually, if you like JPG, you will like Invictus. Just know that there are 3 or 4 kinds of Invictus out now. I don't hold certain fragrances to certain events, so you can wear Invictus anytime, you just have to be aware of how much you spray for where you are going. There are so many choices, I got my first bottle in January, now I have 10!

What you've bought are designer fragrances, these are the ones 98% of the people buy. I tried a couple Creed scents, and really like them. It's almost as if they are similar, but yet different. Almost like you know it is a Creed fragrance by the smell characteristics. But, I have 3 or 4 Creed clones because they smell 85 or 90% the same for a fraction of the cost.

These are all great places, and pretty much where I buy from also.

I almost was going to order Aventus from that Del sol place in France. 100ml would work out to $300 CA. Then I read on a forum someone else from Canada ordered from that site and customs tacked on $70, so came out to $370. Meanwhile I ordered 100ml from basenotes and it came to $190 CA, so almost half the cost. That should last for a while and keep me from getting it in the real bottle till next time around.
