As the screenshot says, it’s up to 12 months depending on the card you have. Most people have the Visa Infinite cards which will only give 6 months free (vs 12 months with the top-tier Visa Infinite Privilege).

I’ve been speaking with “support” for over a month now because my promo won’t activate. Good luck, but their customer service is a joke.

Do you have to actually pay for orders with that Aeroplan card for it to work? Not sure how uber would have a dual system where some orders aren't uber pass others are depending on card

If you load an Uber GC, as long as the Aero CC is still attached, you will receive the UP discount AND default will use UE Cash as payment first.
So, you get the Aeroplan Uber Pass Discount AND pay via Uber Cash from your UE Wallet!

Got mine for 6 months. What's interesting is that not EVERY restaurant even activating UberPass, gives you free delivery charge.
