Awesome! I saw other libraries on Canada offering Zinios some time ago and couldn't wait for TPL to start offering this. Checked and so far working great - can stop paid subscriptions to some magazines I had :)

Not all magazines are offered (e.g. was looking for Harvard Business Review which TPL has as the print version), but still a very good selection.

awesome, thanks OP! working great. Finally I can get my digital copy of 'Just Justin' without anybody judging me ;)

in all seriousness, this is a nice freebie. Doesn't seem to be a limit on how many a user can checkout either. I just got a ton of mags. Wish Wired was available but having Macleans, PopSci and PopMech, and Consumer Reports is great. Plus all my fav car magazines are available too!

Guys just get the mags at your local library. Zinio is in most libraries and they have hundreds of free Zinio mags like the Toronto Public Library for example so you dont have to buy them!

You are aware that the title of this thread is Free Digital Magazine Subs for Zinio... no one is buying them here.

That's not true, most people are buying them here with the coupons Zinio sends everyone. Just because someone is getting free mags here doesn't mean they are not buying other mags. You can even read the posts in this thread of people buying them!

BTW, even if you just work in Toronto you can get a free library card and access this service. Check their website for details on how to do it.

Other cities are doing this too. I know Hamilton has it (from a past thread here). I wonder if there is a central list of all of the libraries participating (i.e. from Zinion).

Yes, very cool. I didn't know that:

Is a library card free?

Yes. A library card is free to everyone who lives, works, goes to school or owns property in Toronto. The library is mostly funded by Toronto municipal taxes. Otherwise you can get a card by paying a non-resident fee.

Noticed the post mentioned the price of the library card.

You can get them in Edmonton for free right now, something to do with an anniversary promotion: http://www.epl.ca/100

You can apparently get cards online as well: http://www.epl.ca/signup
I wish Calgary Public Library would participate as well, since Lethbridge and Edmonton are.... Hopefully they are working on it...
One question, do you have to be physically connected to the library Wifi network to download these Zino magazines as you have to do with the Press Reader app or can you do it from the comfort of your home?

I was able to do it sitting at my PC (used the PC app for Zino).

Zinio vouchers are back - this time it's $25 - 3 mini-subs or 9 single issues.
Go to this thread for the details and to thank silverferrari for posting. Ends August 31, 2013 @ 05:10 pm (EDT) - what a strange time!

For those of you that live in Mississauga, the Mississauga Library just recently joined in on this program as well. So if you have a Mississauga Library Card, just register through the site below and have an account with Zinio and you're good to go.

1 Year Sub to Animal Wellness Magazine

Originally posted on SD as a FB promotion, I'm posting only the direct link, as the code issued, is a generic code!

Original link to sign up, or sign in: http://www.redstonemediagroup.com/awdigisub

Go here: www.redstonemediagroup.com/amember/signup.php

On the right side, select the one that says "Animal Wellness Magazine 1yr Digital ($12.00 for each 12 months)"

Enter your info, and at the bottom of the page, enter the following Coupon Code: F121F

Once your account is created, you can either log in through the above link, or use this one, that shows all the previous issues as well.
