Samething here, I can't hear the voicemsgs I left. Also, I called the computer and picked up the call, but can't hear a thing that is said through the real phone.

Got one, but I'd bet the site doesn't last very long.

Call quality was very good, but I was calling from my comp to my land line.

Yep, same problem here. I thought maybe it was rogers and their packet filtering. I got a 416-477 # and I can call my 519 kitchener/waterloo numbers just fine.

I used a packet sniffer and stuff to see what it's doing. Looks like standard sip protocol. Going to try to set it up with a different softphone and see what happens.

It works. Sound quality from the forwarding service is also great.

Is there any way to make the calls with a regular phone?

Entered all fake info (except login info) to try it out. If you get "Error saving data to server", try changing the email address to something else.

For some reasons, I can call from softphone to cell but not cell to softphone. It just keeps on "ringing"...

Same error with gmail account but successfully with my ISP email. Anyone successful with gmail, hotmail and yahoo account?

Worked for me with gmail. Now the issue is the software since there are no options to setup input/output for those of us with multiple sound cards.

hotmail worked, gmail didnt.

I signed up for 2, one to forward to my home so my aunt in misssissauga doesn't have to incur long distance charges (I live in vaughan) and one for my cell so I don't have to give companies my real number and when I begin to get tons of telemarketing calls I'll just disconnect the call forwarding.

Looks like 295.ca.. I was with 295.ca for dail up.. service is good.. for two years back.. if the softphone with 295.. i think quality we expect good too..
