FREE? Mayweather VS McGregor via DAZN and a VPN

Expiry:
August 27, 2017
So I have been researching the cheapest way to watch this fight and stumbled across some interesting information.
Apparently DAZN subscribers (DAZN is $20/month) in Germany, Austria and Japan will be able to watch the fight with their regular monthly subscription LINK.

I haven't verified if it works but I was thinking I'll use my VPN to push traffic through one of those countries and see if I could get it with my DAZN subscription.
Just putting it out there just in case if anyone else wants to try/watch the fight.

Good luck

Shout out to RTooKey for this suggestion:
Get a trial VPN and use the first month free trial for DAZN.
Thanks to Sevsev:
Signed up for DAZN trial and checked the Saturday schedule for every supported country, didn't see anything! Until I realized it's going to be Sunday at that point for those countries and sure enough the fights listed in the schedule, confirmed for Germany and Japan at least.

if this is for real, it's a hot way to watch a legit feed. so you can sign up to DAZN in Canada and just use VPN for those locations?

Unfortunately I can't test it out until the day of the fight but I use the VPN to get around region content blocking for other things.

I'm sure plenty of places will be streaming the fight for free online.

I hope not too many people do this.. I'd hate to see them start trying to block vpn access. Hoping to watch more additional sports other than just football this year with my subscription.

Court Cracks Down on ‘Future’ Pirate Mayweather-McGregor Streams
A federal court in California has issued a preliminary injunction targeting several websites that could offer pirated streams for the upcoming Mayweather v McGregor fight. The order was requested by TV network Showtime, which fears it might lose a substantial amount of revenue due to piracy. Whether it will put a serious dent in the availability of unauthorized streams is doubtful.

Think of the Childre…
Plenty of live stream out there that will be broadcasting the fight for free, just don't expect HD quality and fast FPS.

WOULD SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!

You have to pay for a VPN sub and a DAZN sub to get it legit vs Kodi - where is the word "FREE" coming from as stated in the thread title?

FYI,

There are much better ways to watch HD sport streams.

Mayweather already came out saying there will be over 1 million pirated streams for this event.

Besides, given the fight should only last a few seconds, may as well just download an HD copy after the fact ;)

Not sure why anyone would waste their time with this "fight"

This is a Farce if anything, a circus act by two guys.

Mayweather is knocking him out in under 6 rounds, McGregor has nothing for him.

Mayweather will probably carry him a few rounds then stop him.

Look at McGregor vs Van Heerden LMFAO, and then look at Mayweather. SMH.

Conor will be embarrassed. He will land NOTHING of note in this bout, nothing.
