Anyone have luck switching to another plan while keeping their 35% F&F discount? I tried going up from a $40 plan to the $75 plan but they said I would lost the discount and would only provide $15 off.

I don't believe that you should lose it, unless they changed their policies now. Maybe give the loyalty department a shot

Ah OK I remember being able to change it in the past but was a bit surprised that I was not allowed to do it this time. I'll probably give loyalty a call. Thanks!

Before they changed the website when you could see the prices on each plan, it was $0 on the $75 plan. I thin they are just working on updating the pages so they've taken them down

Their website is horrible for managing your plan.

They said they saved my CC info to autocharge but every month i have to manually go in and apply a payment. I called customer service and each time they tell me they've entered the CC details but each month my service gets cut off due to "lack of payment" despite being told my CC is in there.

That said it's cheap and works on the subway network so the GF is happy.

Yep. A screen shot showing it at $0/$0 on the $75 plan (since corrected). The website is in flux.

I would pay $75/mo anytime for a $0 iPhone XR. However I don't trust Freedom mobile network at all. Why doesn't Koodo or Virgin come up with this. Plus 18GB of Data. Holy shit.

Why only crappy Freedom Mobile have this?

So I live in an area that is covered by the Freedom network but work in an area that is Nationwide. Does that mean I only get a few GB of Data while at work in the Nationwide coverage?

This is like the old times. "Free" phone on a contract.

I don't like big 3, but they did the right thing by unbundling phone and plan prices.

With this you are basically stuck for 2 years. 2 years is a long time. If a deal comes up on black Friday or something, you are on the hook for hundreds of $$$.

Even after 12 months, you owe $500+ if you want to change
