Could be a stall tactic.ArrowFlynn wrote: ↑ Koodo reps keep mentioning Black Friday as though it’s the second coming. Anyone want to guess what the Black Friday deal will be?

Could be they're waiting to see what Freedom forces them to offer 😁

Sweet. I'm switching from the currently Fido $50/9GB to the $35/11 GB. Looks like it's for everyone not just from Telus/Koodo now. Too bad we can't do it online and has to attend store and also there will be a $30 connection fee. But hey that's a decent deal for sure.

Thanks OP. Nice to see Freedom offer competitive plans. I used this against Koodo get a better deal. If there are no good BF deals from Koodo, I'll be switching over my lines.

Is Freedom Mobile available in Gatineau (right next to Ottawa)? Want to get the +5 GB on my Koodo 35$/2GB plan if possible.

I have the 8gb for 40$ migration plan and they added the 5gb for 0$. Sorry for the late reply.

Did you talk to retention or regular CRS?hollywood115 wrote: ↑ I called Koodo to match, they had a few options:
1. $35 for 6gb of data
2. $45 for 9gb of data
3. $50 for 13gb of data
Doesn't seem like they were willing to budge any further. i spoke to retention as well. It is still lower than what I had currently and lower cost so I took it.
I called twice, and both times the best csr's offer was +4GB to my existing plan of $45/4Gb. So am getting only $45/8Gb, though don't need all these data.
EDIT: I was able to change the base plan to $35/0GB online and keep +4GB addon!

I started with CSR and spoke to retention. But the retention offer was the same.

I think this is expired and now it’s Rogers or Fido

Used FB Messenger and stated Freedom Sale. Took 1 Day to respond.
Got the 4gb offer addon
So now have the $60 for 12+4gb
Though it seems there are better deals

Ended up getting $45 for 6gb. Plus I have a 20% off monthly friends and family discount - so i pay $36/month - not bad since i dont really use that much data . Could have switched over to Freedom for the $35 11GB, but the $30 connection fee killed it for me.
i'll wait to see what the BF deals are, and jump ship if there are better deals then.
