Not sure if this is a deal. Signed up for it and many were in line to sign up. Used a One time $25 referral to get a little discount. Ends August 31st

It's alright. There are been a lot of threads lately and people have been claiming to get the plan with the phone for $75/month after including the initial credit.

So you could get a real carrier for almost equal or maybe 80 a month and actually get reception. Don't pay 70 for freedom. Please.

Don't understand why this is in every Freedom thread? I'm with Telus (I'm on EPP, and it cost me $74 a month for 20GB and an iPhone 11), but there are people out there that have no issues with Freedom's network/coverage.

For retention benefits, you have to wait a bit before you can negotiate for a better phone.

Yeah, I've been with them for 11 years. Wouldn't pay a dollar over 40.

Yeah exactly, so then these threads aren't for you, its for people that are fine with using Freedom's network.

Trying to save people the headache and waste of time paying for an inferior carrier who thinks they're big 3 money.

Tbh I just switched from 40/month 4 gigs with freedom to 50/month 9 gigs with Fido.

What's the point of having service if you constantly miss, drop or don't even receive calls?

I dont have a EPP ability, I wish I did and I would go that route.

Ive been with Freedom for a while. I have had only one issue - Port Stanley beach; I had no service. That is the only issue I ever had.

Who else is offering the iPhone 11 for $0/$10, $240 total?
An SE or LG Velvet for $0/$0? On a $60/20GB plan?

If Freedom does work for you at your location, why support RBT when you could be saving money and supporting competition?
Even with the widespread introduction of “unlimited” cell phone plans, more Canadians could save money on their cell phone bills if Bell, Rogers and Telus faced greater competition from regional carriers like Freedom Mobile and Videotron.
- Competition Bureau, July 2020

If uncertain of service in your area, you've a 15-day no-risk trial. If things don't work out return the as-new device for a full refund, including service and SIM.
Don't let RFD naysayers make your decision for you.

$70 for 20GB and a $979 phone.

Chill dude.

I've been with Freedom for 3-4 years now in Calgary, and the reception is better than Telus/Bell in places where I need it. Plus I'm on for 50 bucks for 15GB and unlimited US calling that I need for work.

Like was said before, these deals aren't for you. If this plan is 70 and a Big 3 plan is 80, that's $120 a year the person will save for no real benefit depending on their use case.

I don't have any issue with freedom, now the only issue is I couldn't get any phone without changing my plan.

Lower than $0 + $10/mo, $240 total? Highly unlikely.

Mind sharing info about Telus EPP Plan you have? I was going to signup for Rogers EPP that totals to $82 (taxes in) plan for 20gb iPhone 11

Crazy that freedom has entered big 3 pricing without the network to back it up
