[Freedom Mobile] Double data on $15 (250mb+250mb) and $25 plan (500mb+500mb) BYOP

Pretty good deal if you are in freedom zone and don't need a lot of data!

$15/mo
250mb + 250mb bonus (24 months) (home zone)
100min calling (nationwide)
Unlimited text (nationwide)
Unlimited throttled data after cap

OR

$25/mo
500mb + 500mb bonus (24 months) (home zone)
Unlimited calling and texting (nationwide)
Unlimited throttled data after cap

Home zone = freedom towers
Nationwide = big 3 but only outside of homezone

Sorry for formatting, on mobile.

While great deal, I don’t really want to deal with the coverage issues.. If they included nationwide talk and text (can make do without data), I’d switch.

But then I still got plenty of credits on Public Mobile thanks to referrals and the low cost of the $15 plan anyway. There’s still the $20 for referring and $10 for the new customer, so that’ll bring in some credits!..

Edit: Checked the website and talk + text is Nationwide network, meaning you can roam on the Big 3 networks at no additional charges. Data is Freedom network only, just keep data roaming off.

My friend is with Freedom and I asked him for his Friends & Family code because I am willing to switch from Fido, but he cannot find it. Where to look or how to get it. I thought it is some universal code but in store they told me it is unique for every Freedom customer.

What annoys me is that current subscribers do not have this available.

After 10 years with Freedom I may go elsewhere.

So who gets them then If not old subscribers and obviously not a new one?

Not sure if advertised price includes digital discount ($5 per month if auto-pay - asterix #3) or you can get $5 off these prices - it will be MORE hot then with prices down to $10 for 500 MB and $20 for 1 GB

Also,
Prepaid has unlimited talk plus text and 1.5 GB data (1 GB plus 500 MB Bonus) for $24.

It's not confusing. The $15 and $25 prices are after digital discount.

The $25 plan also qualifies for a Moto G7 Power or Moto E6 at $0 and no monthly tab charge.

On the $15/250MB plan ($20 before autopay, +250MB/24mo) -
Unlimited incoming calls

Use Hangouts for free outbound, works on throttled data.

[OP pls edit to show unlimited inbound]
