I wouldn't post those "deals" here, you're just going to get roasted.

On top of that, now if someone googles your deal, this thread with people roasting you will one of the first things they see.

Why would the OP get "roasted" for posting a deal? Is it because it is Freedom Mobile?

I agree. I think a lot of people don't post deals because they're so afraid of getting blasted by someone who doesn't like the product or doesn't think it is smokin' hot enough. Meanwhile someone else might have seen and benefited from that deal, so the "roasters" really do the whole community a disservice by being so negative and judgy.

I was actually trying to help. I worked cell retail years ago, and I found that posting contract deals very places actually counted against the promotion.11

Plan cost would be $55 for 20GB and 20$ TAB for the phone for 24 months

Did this yesterday. Myself and two friends also had offers on our account for $10 off for 15 months on a new upgrade. So this deal ended up being $65 for 15 months then $75 and I think a lot of existing customers have that $10 off offer. YMMV

He probably means that, as a new user, OP (based on his name and post history) looks like he works for Freedom. Unless it's actually a hot deal, you usually get flamed for trying to advertise for the company you work for on RFD.

Did you got any gift cards along with that?

I had very bad experience with Freedom a few years ago.
Will never try it again, whatever how cheap it is.

I guess that's why they change the brand name every a few years.
Maybe I was unlucky, but be prepared if you really want to switch to it.

Its $65/month. But if you get bring your own phone you’ll get $10 off x 12 months. Which brings down to $55/mo for 12mo ths with 20GB Data

One upvote from me being a Freedom Mobile user but I really like to switch to either Koodo or Virgin Mobile.
