That's very hot. I thought my Fido Winback for $37 a month for 25gb was good

HOT! I've never seen data rates this low! Edit: it's about 3.5 GB of data if you use it over 12 mos.. Still the best rate around!

Freedom is trash.
I have 5 bars (excellent) reception everywhere I go. I can't dial out nor receive calls.
Not a problem when I am on the big 3.

The important stuff from the T&Cs:

To get the 25GB of Extra Data, you must activate a new Prepaid line on an “Eligible Plan” (Freedom Nationwide Talk + Text + 1.5GB/2GB). The data is only available to be used on the Freedom Network. Bonus 25GB of data will only be used after you have used up the data in your rate plan each month and, once the total 25GB of bonus data is depleted, it will not be replenished. Talked to an agent about this. Finer details:

Per month discount on plan: $5
Per month discount with autopay set up: $5 (does not apply to first month).
Activation fee: $10

This means:
First month: $34 + tax.
Second month and onwards: $19 + tax
(add $5 to each month you have not set up autopay).

All freedom LTE plans include wifi calling.

The plan = $19/ month
Includes unlimited talk and text

Bonus:
1 time 25gb data for 12 months


It's still a sh*tty plan since Shaw was offering $10 for 3gb with unlimited talk/texts

$10 unlimited + 3gb = $120 in a year (total: 36gb)
$19 x 12 months = $228 (only 25gb)

I'm a career hater on freedom after my experiences with them but even I have to admit this is a great deal. Proper pricing for freedom, hopefully it puts downward pressure on the flanker brands

Yeah, exactly this. You guys need to calm down. It’s not a 25GB plan for $19/m. Its a 1.5GB plan for $19/mo with a one time surplus of 25GB that will be gone after its depleted.

Dam this is better lmao, is that after tax? You need to think about it this way freedom is bad for most, this bonus data/discount is only for a year, and Fido has the wxtra 5 hours of data and the Fido app offers. now that I think about it you thought this was per month lol your funny if you think freedom would even offer that for new customers, would you mind letting me know how your process was to get this winback deal and this is a first I’m hearing of a winback like this

If you never even heard about this offer, I doubt you know that Shaw isn’t available in most regions

Deals always change and depend on yearly events, freedoms always the last or the first to offer smtg huge back during back to school deals so during July the big 3 started offering huge deals like the 10gb for 40$, im fairly new to rfd and new to checking freedom deals so I never knew seeing now Seems like rfd had threads bout what freedom was doing like some whicked prepaid plans and add a lines rolling out, anyway around sep to oct the big 3 offered an additional 5$ off the 10gb plan again during Boxing Day the big 3 offered an extra 2gb on it and then I saw at freedom offering 15gb for 35$ for and also saw threads about freedoms offers and then saw a special 30$ for 15gb for current customers, after 10 reps I finally got it
