[Freedom Mobile] [HOT] Free Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra & Free Bluetooth Headphone with Current $40+ plans

Save $420 with MyTab when you purchase a Sony XA1 Ultra for $0 up front with a $0/mo MyTab Boost. Offer lasts for a limited time and while supplies last. MyTab Terms and conditions apply.
Also, for a limited time only purchase a Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra and get a free pair of Sony Bluetooth Wireless Headphones (MDRZX220BT/B). Available while quantities last and in-store only.

Also, this phone is listed as VoWifi, so you can make Wifi calls.

This is a decent phone with a MediaTek MT6757 2.3GHz (Octa Core, 64-bit) processor ...for something that is free.

I am new to this, but when you say "free", you meant $0 upfront with a 2-year contract of $40+ tab, right? If so, it seems like a regular plan with $0 upfront, instead of a <$80 plan with the big three, you sign up with FM (from what I heard has worse reception all over Canada) with $40 plans.
I mean no offense, I am simply confused. Thank you for sharing the deal! :)

40 dollars a month with no additional charge. It's 0 tab boost. 0 upfront and 0 tab boost. It's 40 flat plus tax for 2gb data. Or get the 50 with 5gb data. Also this is a repost as I believe there is another thread already of this deal.

North American versions do not come with a finger print scanner as Sony made an agreement in order to sell phones in NA.

If you need one with a fingerprint scanner you need to get the international version (EU or Asia).

Only in the US, all other models (except Xperia XZ premium) has fingerprint sensor enabled in Canada. You also only need to flash the firmware to an international one to enable the fingerprint print sensor. It is only because of some patent/agreement that Sony disable the fingerprint sensor in the power button in the US which does not apply in Canada.

XA2 models has the fingerprint on the back and not on the power button so it's enable in the US.

Will FM or any Canadian carrier be offering the XA2 Ultra? Canadian carriers seem to shy away from Sony phones. I'd have loved to see the Sony X Compact, and XZ1 Compact in Canada.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has success negotiating based on their existing plan. Please let us know.

From past experience, Bell mostly carries Sony phones.

I called and was denied the deal :( The current plan has to be $40 and up, folks with $39 plans are not eligible according to the CSR.
