No contract, man. You can cancel the next day and keep the $1200 phone for which you paid absolutely zero! Plus, you get PC points!
/sarcasm off

Now seriously, there is no contract, but if you cancel before 24 months, you will be charged the full retail price for the phone (the inflated MSRP from last year).
Good deal if you are happy with Freedom's coverage.
Other providers charge $30-$40/month just for the phone portion of the monthly bill (iPhone 11), plus they force you into some really expensive monthly plans ($50+).

I still have like 10 months left on my current freedom device. Guessing there's no chance to forego device costs and renew a "contract" for this phone?

I know it was previously offered for users who had like < 6 months left.

Thanks OP, my mom has been looking for a new phone - will prob check out this afternoon.

Anyone can comment on the LTE coverage by Freedom in 905? I remember never being able to get more than 1/2 bars even in coverage zones when I was on it before..

I'd definitely wait it out til Black Friday because they'll offer even better deals considering iPhone 12 will probably be out by then

I doubt it will go any lower than $60/mo and with 20GB.

The XR is only now $55/mo 2yrs since launch.

I’m confused. It doesn’t make sense.

Sign up for $60 and get iPhone 11 for 0$ /month

Cancel next month and pay no phone or contract fees?

Maybe it won't go lower but it'll definitely have more PCO points and >20GB.

In the small print, if you cancel before 2 years, they'll charge you full retail MSRP inflated of the phone

well, no one is giving you a phone for free to cancel service next month. Freedom absorbs the cost of the phone to keep you as a customer for 2yrs. If you cancel before that, you forfeit the offer.

OMG - i got ripped, again. :-(

I signed up, 2 weeks ago, iPhone 11 for $60/20G plan + $10/month tab/24 months - $10/month credit/15 months = $90 loss ( :-( )

I never win this game.
