[Freedom Mobile] IPhone 12 - 10GB @ 69$/month

Hey guys,

I was looking to get the iPhone 12. It seems that freedom has the best price.

After the carrier rebate it does comes up to 936$. The only hick is that you got to pay upfront

Does anyone have anything to say about them? I’m about to pull the trigger on this.

I have a Freedom SIM card to test out the service.
The service is horrible to non-existent in north east Scarborough / Markham (east of McCowan, south of Highway 7, North of Finch) -- This is my home area.
Also, If you're driving between Pickering and Scarborough on on Taunton / Steeles, don't expect service.

And it's not my phone as I have an iPhone XS max and a Samsung S20 FE as daily drivers.

I have tested Samsung S10, S9 Plus, Note 8, Pixel 4A, Pixel 2, iPhone 8 plus, iPhone 6s and it's the same across the board.

In comparison , I have an ATT Sim (roaming on Rogers) + TELUS SIM that are near flawless vs. Freedom. TELUS has the best service.

Lol, Freedom is terrible. I don't why people give them money. Even in the one area they have passable service, you enter a building and its gone due to their wireless tech.

I wouldn't pay freedom $5 a month for 50gb. Good luck using even 5gb of it with how trash their service is.

The Canadian Charter doesn't apply in Quebec. That's been proven many times over.

Was anyone able to get this at the store? It appears some sort of error on their side as when you look at the device, it should require $55+ plan for iphone 12 128GB.

Almost finish my 2 years with Freedom now
No complains, especially with the discounted device over 2 years
I also did some Uber and DoorDash driving in 2020, no hassle
