BEWARE - This phone is well documented as having a series of screen issues. A few months back, Fido had this phone on a great deal and me, being a sucker for the great looking specs, ignored the warnings and went for it. The phone lasted about two weeks before the infamous 'green smudging' screen issues appeared. I was able to return it and get something different, but please do not make the same miskate that I did: avoid this phone.

Raw performance should be good with this device, right?

I don’t know why headphone jacks are still a thing when only a few phones actually have a decent DAC and amp. The only reason not to use Bluetooth is because you are into hi res lossless and have expensive headphones. And if you have these pretty much any phone with a headphone jack is going to be the weak link.

Keep in mind that updates are only for 2 years. I think even Samsung does it for 3.

I have this phone right now and I would say use it is a good back up phone. The phone got top specs but overall it isn't smooth compare to my main phone oneplus 9 pro. It is thick and feels heavy in the hands comparatively. There are bugs that really annoyed me as the shortcut buttons on the side are no longer there. I would say this is a $500-600 phone for what it is worth.
