No, I don't pay the $5, just put a $1 prepaid card from begining

I'm guessing you paid the $5 to disable auto top-ups (or did it for free before they started charging $5). I think you should be good then as long as you haven't used the $5 up in overages.

I ordered the SIM card last night. The prompts I followed said $0.25, but the nTrust card lite was debited $15.33..... is this a hold or an actual charge? Even Paypal still says only $0.27 CAD

what is the difference b/w 200 min talk and 100 min global free ?
200 min is for calling TO US&Canada and receiving calls. 100 min global is for calling TO the countries listed in the add-on description. It mistakenly lists Canada on the global add-on list but for calling purposes Freedompop doesn't make a difference between Canada & USA.

I only had $10 im my nTrust card and didn't see any charge other than the $0.25 USD. Wait a couple of days and see if it goes away.

did you also remove pre-authorized on PayPal for Freedompop the ntrust card? That might be why.

I didn't use PayPal at all, not for Freedompop or for nTrust.

If you didn't use PayPal, how did you enter your billing address information correctly? Was there a way to enter a Canadian billing address on the Freedompop signup page? (Or did you set a US address on the nTrust card?)

Thanks :)

I entered my US shipping address and it worked fine with my nTrust card. SInce it's a "prepaid" card I don't think it matters.

Anyone else order a SIM around the 3rd week of November? Wondering if anybody got theirs. I ordered on 21st and tracking shows it having been mailed out USPS on Dec 1st (from MMB), and now apparently in NY. Starting to think mine got lost. If it doesn't turn up soon I'll have to cancel that account to be sure there isn't any unwanted use of the SIM.

Edit: added italics to remove ambiguity

Edit #2: interesting... the tracking info for the 1st SIM still shows 'shipment in transit to destination' for the last entry on Dec 5, and now the second SIM has 'tendered to postal service', so it has 'leap frogged' the first one. Seems to confirm the first one has been lost.

Edit #3: ok disregard #2 above, the SIM arrived Dec 16. So all told it took 3 weeks. Now just waiting for the 2nd SIM which I ordered later.

Used my freedompop sim cards for the first time this past week in the states. Only thing i had to do was to change the APN to freedompop.foggmobile.com since it didn't automatically program that. I mistakenly had two sims in one account. But interestingly BOTH sims had separate 700mb data. I used both cards and they confirmed they had separate data counters. Aside from a brief outtage of service for a few hours on friday night, it worked pretty good. DIdnt' get LTE coverage in Boston, stuck on 3G, but it wasn't bad at all.

FreedomPop Global SIM is not LTE, it's HSPA+.

FreedomPop Now Offering Free AT&T LTE Mobile Broadband Service
http://www.prepaidphonenews.com/2016/12 ... t-lte.html
http://www.rcrwireless.com/20161214/car ... ccess-tag2

Details are sketchy but FreedomPop just announced a $10 sim that gets 200MB monthly of AT&T LTE coverage in the USA. Hopefully this new deal will allow you to sign up 10 FreedomPop Friends to get an additional 500MB of LTE per month. Currently costs $10 per sim but hopefully drops to 25 cents like the FreedomPop Global sims did.

Agree if we can add the 500 mb for "Friends," this deal would be super hot and well worth the $10 for sim

I always wanted the hot spot and you can still grab the SIM and use it on your phone. lol

I wonder if it's AT&T, does that mean the APN is not going to be routed through UK?
