damn, forgot ebates!!! I got a second sim for 1cent...

What is Ntrust?
2nd SIM is worthless since you only get the basic plan and no referral. You probably want to get 7-10 SIMS and you referral one another.. lol.

NTrust is a BC company that offers disposable credit card at a relatively cheap rate compare to other off the shelf ones. They check new accounts quite strictly and they even called me to verify who I am. Good job for this company.

Going to lose three RingPlus Midnight Summer's Dream plans and will be left with two Momentum ones. Boo hoo hoo.

I still have two freedom pop, one with just data and the other with talk and text.
For your Ring+ plans, you can potentially move those phones/sims to Freedompop under the BYOD option. Last year Freedompop waived the $19.99 BYOD activation fee during Black Friday. I cancelled one of my phones on the Truly Free 2 plan and the ESN checker immediately says that I can activate again so I may cancel my other affected accounts and activate on Freedompop if they waive the fee again this year. That way, I will have extra accounts to "share" data with one another.

You may want to consider this option or wait to see if R+ offers anything good for us to move our plans to. I wouldn't count on anything remotely close to what we have now though :(

My 2 cents: if you are primarily looking for data, T-Mobile has a "free data for life" tablet plan - 200 MB per month, full LTE speed. IPad users can get a universal Apple SIM from the local store, it should work with the T-Mobile network in the USA.
You need a tablet to activate this plan and that plan appears to be IMEI tied to device as well. I tried this last time when I was in US.

I know they had trouble over the last weekend, but it was fixed already. I got friends that registered today and it worked.

I got the "bonus" 1c offer for another SIM. Didn't read through the thread and realized it's pretty worthless. I don't see it listed on my account though. Will I be charged anything else for it?

I used 642MB out of 700MB free data on my last trip last week. FreedomPop didn't take any money out from my $5 credit for their auto top up within 100 MB limit.

I used PayPal, it has the option to de-authorise future payment, would that work?
Anyone can confirm why this would not work? Just cancel paypal billing agreement instead of using prepair card and spend $5.

They were giving away an 8GB MicroSD for 99c few weeks ago. That was a better deal.

How do we download the FreedomPop app? It's unavailable in Canada... Do we need to create a separate account on Google or is there a VPN work around?

The reviews on MyFreedomPop app for Android is horrible.... Is this one of those freebies that ends up costing an arm and a leg?
