It is happening again!
I cannot get any phone calls. The prompt is 'The xx you are trying to reach isn't available. Please leave a message'.
However, I am able to initiate a phone call.
Tried to power it off and on again and didn't help. Monitored it with obitalk account and everything seems fine.
Tried to open a ticket with freephoneline but no where to go. Does anyone know what to do next?
Thanks in advance.

Same issue on my end. According to https://status.fongo.com/ there was some System Maintenance/Upgrade this morning.JayJJJ wrote: ↑ It is happening again!

I am experiencing the same problem. Just wondering if anybody else is using Bell Fibe as their ISP. I don't know when calls started going right to voice mail, but the first I found out about it was 11:00 Am today. We had a small problem with Bell Fibe this morning but it was rectified by restarting the modem. While everything else in the house internet related is working fine now, calls are still going directly to voice mail on our freephoneline number. I know it is a longshot and the two problems are most likely not related, but I thought I would ask anyway. Thanks!

I am still not receiving incoming calls. Two different setups, in two different cities.
Even FPL line to FPL line is getting the "Person at this number ...".

Depends on what VOIP box you purchase but the setup is pretty simple and should take like 15min or so.

Same here since a few months ago. I was thinking it's my OBi202 device issue. From what you guys mentioned, it's like a real issue with FPL.
One thing that I've not tried is to use the application of the FPL on a PC since the FPL don't have the APP on iphone.
Before this, I have been pretty happy for 10 years. For $50 dollars, it is a good deal indeed.

Not to sound like a butthat or anything.
How have you guys had SOO many problems with OBI and FPL.
I literally bought an OBI, found this guide on setting it up. Have never had an issue since (other than network outages or tweaking settings for better quality).

I’ve been a FPL user for many years but recently have encountered connectivity issues which a lot of users seem to be experiencing as well. I’m wondering if it’s their ploy to shift us to their monthly subscription model?

Did you go to freephoneline.ca and give them 99.95 for the voip unlock key? You need to do this. I don't know the details of what they send, since I have not done it yet, but I assume it's at least the username/password you need to fill in. Can anyone comment on exactly what else they send(port numbers to use?)
I just got google voice working, so I can now test the box before going though the freephoneline setup.
Also, can I pay my 99.95 to FPL and later pay the $25 for porting(allowing me to test more first) or do you need to do both at once?

Hi GlenLalonde & Softech,
Yes I did paid already and they provide info that show on screenshot those are the info they provide under sip setting. password and login which should be clear where to enter, but other info I am not clear how to put them trying to ask someone doing tech also have no idea. Can anyone like take a picture of their setting? Or if any guide would be great. I am using poly obi200 voip box. Thank you in respond.

I don’t use my free phone line on a obi box, but rather on an Aastra voip phone which should register the same way.
My settings are :
Authentication name: your 11 digit phone number with 1 in front. (14165551212)
Password: the one they gave you when you got the SIp key
Proxy server: voip3.freephoneline.ca
Proxy port : 5060
Outbound proxy server (left blank/default)
Registrar server: voip3.freephoneline.ca
Registrar port : 5060
Registration period: 3600
If that doesn’t work, maybe your line is not fully enabled yet or you may need to contact them for support.
