Anyone having issues today with freephoneline, and incoming calls?

Outgoing calls are working fine.
But most incoming calls go straight to voicemail. No rings.
Once in awhile it will go through and ring, but most go straight to voicemail.

The strange behaviour started this morning.
Very strange. I haven't changed any settings on my ATA.

Cool . I tried changing caps on a Samsung monitor once but unfortunately didn't work after.. Maybe I just have horrible soldering skills. I can't even figure out how to open up the power adapter. I saw someone use a knife and heat gun but not sure what the best way is to open the power adapter case. Suggestion?

I use a box knife with thick blade so that I can pry it after I dig through the plastic. The case is glued together. Cut up an old GC into strips. I use the plastic strip to keep the cut from closing while I am working to pry it open.

If incoming calls are not working, change the SIP proxy from voip.freephoneline.ca to voip2.freephoneline.ca

I had the same issue. No calls coming in, but I could call out. Didn't realize this problem until later in the day. I did reboot my linksys ata and the system seemed to work normally. Not sure if freephoneline fixed their issue or if the reboot fixed the issue.

I tried rebooting a couple of times and it didn't help. I saw that tip about changing the proxy in the Fongo forums

So the voip2.freephoneline.ca works better ?
Did that fix the problem for you.
Thanks

I got it working. Had to switch over to voip2.freephoneline.ca. Then make sure follow-me option on freephoneline.ca setting is DISABLED. Any other combination will result in no incoming.
