freestanding electric stove
My 20 year old KitchenAid glass top stove developed a large crack on the surface and it looks difficult to replace (i've repaired stuff on it over the years).
I never thought much of this stove until I went to few stores looking at current stove and can't help but feel they are all of cost cutting poor quality
- outer metal work quality seems overall subpar and thin
- no AC outlets
- no built in night light
- only 1 oven light instead of 2
- tiny storage drawer on the bottom
- plain old knobs seem to be going away
Samsung/LG seemed to have a bit better finish then fridgidair/whirlpool/GE/maytag - but too many horror stories
This is for ovens in the 1000 - 2000 price range. They have some cool features - but is this the new standard?
