I hope that everyone is well stocked on groceries in the freezer from a previous week because the upcoming flyers are pretty bad.

Agreed. And seem to be getting shorter :(

And don't forget FreshCo still price matches!! Although only 2 items of each, instead of No Frills 4 items of each.

Do you have inside knowledge? Or just a feeling?

Or believe since they only allow pm of 2 for each item, that it's being phased out? Because it's been 2 for years. And they still are competing with No Frills.

A bit off topic but this week No Frills flyer in Ontario has honeydew for $1.91/each, black plums also $1.91/lb, cucumber 85 cents

Campbell's chunky soup at Food Basics 2 for $2.88

No Tax at RCSS

Better than nothing, I guess

Those no tax events can sound better than they really are. Most of the stuff that people would usually purchase at a grocery store aren't taxable anyway.

Freshco recently refused my price-match with a Fortinos store located literally three blocks away. Their excuse: "we do not price-match upscale, full-service supermarkets; they have such high regular prices that they can afford to have occasional sales at unreasonably low prices, even if that means selling at a loss".

That's why you gotta know how to play the game and know the list. Knowledge is power. See example posted below.

Pro-tip, go with family members, or, if the line is short, just buy 2, put it in your car, and queue up again.

Pro-tip, don't do any of this :( Till everyone is vaccinated against covid. It's a pandemic still, isn't it?
