Feb 11-17: $8.99 - Cashmere 30 Jumbo Toilet Paper Rolls

Might want to add location to the title as it's not national - west shows "Purex 30 = 50 Jumbo Rolls" for $8.97.

If there's one thing I've learned is that grocery store TP deals almost never come out ahead over Kirkland/Costco - in most cases you get fewer squares because of other brand's marketing gimmicks for "jumbo rolls", and/or you end up using way more.

Kirkland TP is too thin. I returned my hoard. Too many accidents !!! Yes Kirkland comes out ahead in being cheap but you tend to use a lot more. I find Charmin the best.

Costco is expensive for toilet paper compared to grocery stores. Costco paper deals aren’t great. Costco would sell 80 rolls on promotion for $16.99

Hmmm, toilet paper math does indeed confirm that this is a pretty good deal if you like Purex.

Costco 30 packs each have 425 sheets so 12,750 sheets total = 750 sheets per dollar if the sale price is $16.99.

Purex Jumbo appear to have 253 sheets per roll (odd number) so 7590 sheets for $8.97 or 843 sheets per dollar. This sale gives you nearly 100 more sheets per dollar (if Purex is okay for you).

I can't believe I wasted my time figuring that out and posting it.

I know. People I guess don't want to do the math themselves, but thanks for doing it for everyone.

If people actually do this analysis they will realize that this is a hot deal for TP.
