Reminder this is half size so really $6 for slightly more than a normal full stick of butter 454 vs 500 in this case

Bough some of the regular unsalted butter from Gay Lea and it stays hard at room temperature. It's on my do not buy list now.

What do the cows eat from the regular butter?

Is this really any better?

I don't see any deal here, should be 2.99 for 1lb not 250 grams

I don't think we will see $2.99/lb butter any time soon. $3.99-$4.49 seems to be the sale prices these days (or maybe you guys out East get better deals...)

Go buy them for $2.99 and then return them using the receipt for $6.99. No serial # on them.

We stocked up a bit last time they had a really low price sale and honestly I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Has anyone tried this and found the flavor better than non 'grass-fed' butter?

Grass is organic and natural food for cows. So it's technically healthier and better.
Other cows are feed GMO corn or other grains.

$3.99 is still better than this deal.

What what?

Some of the supplements/hormones they gives cows are made with palm oil...palm oil (seed oils), are not healthy for cows and/or humans. This is what many scientists claim is the reason some butters stays hard when in room temp...palm oil % in the milk is high.

Grass-fed shouldn't have the same problem (see link to article above) but the flavour might be different. (unsure, I've not bought grass fed butter)

Likely not since it's a special price with a scene card. My NF and Superstore won't price match anything like that, even when it's within the same store banner like NF to Superstore and vice versa, but YMMV.
