[Fresh Co] Samyang Noodle Fire Chicken 5PK $4.99

I was surprised to see this deal on the Fresh Co's flyer. Also kinda surprised nobody has posted this deal yet. It's usually $7 or more which make you save $2 or more. I haven't found pinky one in my local stores. The deal expires this Wednesday. If you don't know what it is, just google the name, you'll find some interesting videos.

I think so. I thought Fresh Co is only available in Ontario? I could be wrong.

I just used like 1/3 of the spice packet and my Euro eyes still kept crying. Thank god for Keto saving me from these as they are dangerously addictive.

Don't know if its the same but I got a 5pak of the Samyang Hot Fire Chicken which says 2x spicy on the top. Hoooolyyyy! Besides gettin the sweats, I was shooting fire outta rear end! I thought I could eat spicy but man, was I wrong. These freakin noodles are deadly.

I still have a few paks left & each time I open the noodle cupboard, they stare at me, daring me. But I confess, infront of these Samyangs, I'm not worthy. Instant noodles should be delicious (what with the salt, msg & whatever unpronounceable chems & all) but these fire noods are pure torture.

So I'm gonna pass even if I got it for free. Maybe even if I got paid, I might still take a pass. I salute those who can eat these noods with relishClapping Hands Sign

The pink carbonara ones are far better than all the other flavors.

If you want it less spicy try making 2 packs of noodles and using only one pack of the red sauce.

The normal fire noodles are by far my favourite instant noodles and my friends who enjoy spicy food love it as well. The same can't be said about the 2x, it hurts a bit too much to enjoy.

This thread should be merged with a TP deal, you'll need some rolls after.

Sobeys started expanding their FreshCo brand across western Canada a few years ago. They now have multiple locations in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon, and are all over BC.

There's historically been less grocery store competition in the west, particularly amongst discount brands. A smattering of No Frills, an RCSS here and there, Wal-Mart, and the odd Giant Tiger. No FreshCo or Food Basics. Sobeys decided to try and secure some of that market share. And with the purchase of Safeway and the resultant consolidations, they now have the real-estate to do it.

If you want the spicy carbonara less spicy, I recommend two poached eggs with it. The yolk from the eggs really subdues the spiciness and makes it super creamy and delicious.

Although, I do experience my urine turning green after eating.. which I assume is due to the red packet, so I try to have them once in awhile. Awesome late night snack.

Stay away from the red packs unless you feeling spontaneous and need a reminder of how weak you are.
