[Fresh Co] ON- $1 bread - Freshco (4 day sale)

Starting Thursday, Freshco has Compliments enriched bread for $1 for 4 day. Then the price goes up to $1.50 per loaf. May include whole wheat and Italian loaf too. YMMV

If you have a Dollar Tree nearby, you can grab D'Italiano/Villagio/Dempster and even fancy hippy/artisan breads for a $1.25. Just don't forget to check the expiration!

Walmart has in store fresh baked bread for $1 (French or Italian). Haven't bought for a while though as I stopped going to Walmart due to lack of cashiers.

I've been getting into making my own bread for fun, since it's so easy and affordable and the bread is way nicer. It's a cool little project - a lot of waiting around and a bit of work involved, but hey, it's a hobby.

I have a hard time justifying that when I can buy bread for literally one dollar. I mean, I can't really lie to myself and say I'm working to create much value - the bread is still way nicer, but it's ONE DOLLAR.

You are right about expiry dates.
If anyone want the Frescho deal, you can freeze bread too.

Good price but not that great. Seriously, if you can find the Wonderbread THIN slice, get that, it is so much better than their regular bread plus less calories and more slices per bag.

PC Blue Menu and No Name peanut butter is going for $2.99 at Shoppers (Ontario at least).

My local Freshco has a Shoppers next to it so this worked out great for me.

Koodo $40/8GB
Public Mobile $38/5GB
